Aloha Oukou

I know, I know. We are terrible bloggers-but here's an update!

Hawaii.Was.Amazing! It was near impossible to leave. In fact, the pure wonderfulness that is Hawaii had us conspiring to figure out how we could pitch in our money and buy a beachfront condo. Sadly, we came up short and therefore boarded a plane and came back to California.

We were fortunate to spend 7 days in Maui with 27 of our family members from the Le Shana side. There were aunts, uncles, cousins, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, brothers, sisters, in-laws, and of course, the guests of honor: Grandma and Grandpa Le Shana! We were there celebrating their 60th wedding anniversary. 60th! Can you believe that? It was a complete surprise for them, and boy were they shocked! It was such a wonderful way to celebrate them and the awesome example they have set for us all.

We stayed at a beautiful condo resort right on the water and had the opportunity to do lots of fun things and visit new places. Just look at this beach we visited one day, isn't it stunning?

Jason and I were even able explore the island of Oahu just the two of us which was a nice little bonus.

It was truly the perfect vacation. We came home relaxed and ready to start back into reality. But the question that won't escape our minds is: When can we go back??

Until next post, Aloha nui loa! (Translation: Much love, fondest regards)
